Experience a practice of deep relaxation and stillness on the rooftop at El Blok Hotel. Yin yoga and sunset sound bath class is for all levels. The class utilizes props to fully support the body allowing for ease in relaxation, stillness and focused breath. Yin yoga is a gentle style of yoga which targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine through poses held for periods of 2-5 minutes. Sound bowls accompany the practice to encourage physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The teacher will offer modifications during class. The student is ultimately their own guide and should perform whichever variation feels best for their body at the time of class. Included in the class are one yoga bolster, one strap and two blocks. Plan to bring your own yoga mat or rent one for $5 cash or venmo@collettereeves. Arrive 10 minutes prior to class and take elevator to the rooftop. Advance registration and payment online required to attend class.
